Escaping The Cold with Garden Inspiration

Ugh. I’m so cold. It’s only February, but I’m ready to be done with winter. However, since I have no control over the weather, I figured I’d give us all a chance to escape into garden inspiration land.

This is absolutely adorable. Better yet, it’s small enough to bring inside and care for year ’round, if you know how.

Extremely pretty. If you have enough room, you can put a small bridge in even without a creek. The idea of growing plants on the bridge itself is pretty cool. The flower selection is perfect as well.

I don’t know why, but I’ve always loved these types of set ups. The raw nature of the stone retaining wall and steps contrasts so nicely with the straighter lines of fence, door and the curve of the railings. The lovely ivy growing along the fence and the glowers growing in red mulch adds such life to the setting.

This is pretty much what I’d like our garden in the front to look like. We have a bunch of those pink and white lilies, but I’d love to plant some of those taller orange lilies behind them. They also smell lovely.

I think looking at these pictures may have backfired. Now I long for spring even more!

Think warm thoughts, right?
