Jewelry and Crochet Works In Progress!

I don’t know about you, but I find some of the best days to work inside is when it’s delightfully drizzly outside. That’s exactly what’s going on today. Between watching movies with the hubby and re-reading The Prisoner of Azkaban for the umpteenth time, I’ve finally been doing a little work on craft-like things.

Seaside Necklace
Ugh, this sucker has been giving me issues, but now that I’ve switched things up a little bit, it seems to be going a little more smoothly. It’s made up of repurposed seashells from a plant holder I picked up at a local thrift store and a broken bracelet someone gave to me a while ago, plus sodalite chips and glass beads.

There will also be a pair of matching earrings, too.

Crochet Baret
Once I’d learned how to do the magic circle in crochet and put together a few flowers, I got a wee bit hooked. Several months ago, I’d picked up some of hair clip blanks on clearance, but haven’t used them, yet. I think I’ll make some flower barets and probably some other types while I’m at it.

I also have a bunch of keychains that I’d like to use for something, too. Fun stuff, huh? Guess I’ll pull up that audiobook I started listening to and getting back to my beading.

Happy weekend, all! Hope it’s going well.
