Knitting and Renovation Works In Progress!

I’m such a bad blogger. I missed posting yesterday. In my defense, I was feeling pretty terrible. Stomach problems are awful.

I’m doing better now, though still not at 100%.

Anyhoo. Since I haven’t been at my best, I haven’t been nearly as productive as I’d wanted to be. However, I do have another double sided scarf in the works.

This one’s going to be pretty girlie. I have SO much pastel yarn, and I don’t have a clue of what to do with it. I figure honing my double sided knit skills was a good idea, so why not?

I created those two designs, and two more original designs will be incorporated into the final scarf.

By the way, remember that pony and flower scarf I made earlier this month? Yeah, I have that up for sale via ebay. Starting bid is $10, but if you really want it, the buy it now price is $35.

As for renovations, hubby’s been busy!

That little structure next to the plastic sheeting will be part of the small bathroom we’re putting down there. That’s gonna be expensive.

My future office. It won’t be a whole lot bigger than what I have now, and I’m hoping to replace that window with something that’ll let in some more light and can be opened and closed. Sadly, a full sized egress window is out of the question, since it would block off our walkway if we put one there.

So, yep. ‘Tis the season for ongoing projects.

I haven’t been a whole lot of help downstairs, outside of hauling stuff and holding stuff in place while he puts nails in it or measures, so far. I’m sure that’ll change when it comes time to get painting, flooring and putting the finishing touches in place.

Should be interesting!
