Rainy Day Beauty

I’ve always thought rainy days have an undeserved bad reputation. When there’s a long string of grey, damp days, sure that gets old, but when there are only one or two between sunny days, why get down about it?

I mean, look at what the rain gave us.

Wildflowers that reseed themselves every year.
Thread-leaved tickweed, balloon plant and an oriental lily. Looking forward to when these flower.
Lilies? Orchids? I don’t know. These are the neighbor’s, and I admire them every year.
Shoot. Focus is off on this one. Ah well. I still like it. Say hello to the Lantern Plant’s flower. Also, grass that should be pulled.

Sunshine is lovely, but the rain brings wonderful things, too.
