I’ve been doing a fair amount of knitting again, this week.
The knitting part of that gift is finished, though I still need to weave in the ends, give it a wash and do some blocking. It turned out to be a lap blanket, since I couldn’t find any more of that yarn, but it’s not too bad.
I’ll try getting another picture when it’s 100% finished. Still not entirely sure of where I’ll have enough space to block it, though.
Eh, I’ll figure something out.
As for that double headed dragon scarf I started forever ago, the head was just finished today. The second part of the chart has been printed out, and is waiting for me to start on it.
I screwed the count up a little somewhere along the way, but it’s not too bad. This guy is something of an experiment, since I’m using the scrap yarn my grandmother gave me a few years back.
It’ll most definitely be a one of a kind piece.
You can find the pattern here. I’m doing the fire dragon, since fire seems to be my element of choice, but you’ll also get a water, earth and air dragon pattern, along with a pick your own adventure story.
Anyway, happy weekend, all!
