This week, I finally finished that double sided flower scarf I’ve been working on. Since I was working with the yarn my grandmother had given me, it’s quite…happy.
I need to figure out a better way of getting the whole thing in a picture. But all of the flowers were designed by me.
I’m rather proud of this one, actually. It’s the same pattern, but worked in different directions. I hadn’t actually intended to make a pansy when plotting it out, but that’s how it turned out.
My yellow rose. I also like this one, but I think I’ll use a darker color the next time I make something with it.
This one looks a little more like a snowflake than the flower I had intended. It was actually one of my first designing attempts. I still like how it turned out, though.
You might recognize this flower from that scarf that got second place in the contest I’d entered it in. I rather like the multi-colored look.
I’m also working over some ideas for custom work in my head. Before I say anything more, I’ll need to see if I can get the technique I have in mind to work.
Otherwise, there hasn’t been a whole lot accomplished on the craft front this week. Hubby didn’t get any work done on the basement, either. However, he’s down there right now, playing with tape measures and whatnot. I think he said something about needing to do some reframing.
HOWEVER, I am hosting a sale in honor of Hallmark Appreciation Day (more commonly known as Valentine’s Day)! Get 10% off at Storenvy with coupon code happyheart
