Three Fun Valentine’s Day Crafts

Well, Friday’s Valentine’s Day! I’m sure no one needs reminding of that fact, what with all of the hype surrounding it.

Bear in mind, you don’t need to have a significant other in order to celebrate, despite what commercials and the like try to tell you. If you have anyone in your life that you love, be they a friend, family member or anything else, why not celebrate the love you have for them with a handmade gift?

Heart Attack!
This is super cute, and super simple to do! All you’d need is construction or colored paper, a box, scissors and a writing implement. Cut out a whole bunch of hearts, glue some to the box and write one thing you like about the person on the rest before putting them in the box.

Close up the box, and give it to your loved one!

Glow Stick Valentines
The entry this links to designates “boy” and “girl” valentines, but there’s no reason why you can’t use the wand idea for boys or the picture idea for girls. I know quite a few female Star Wars fans who would prefer the light saber to the wand!

These pouches are absolutely adorable, and although the video suggests them for kids, there are quite a few adults out there who’d get a kick out of them, too.

Once again, although romance is highlighted, there’s no reason why love of all kinds can’t be celebrated on that day!
